    Descripción

A refined gray cotton corduroy with a fine 20-wale rib that reads clean, modern, and highly versatile. At 240 GSM, this is a light-to-midweight corduroy—soft, wearable, and adaptable—yet still unmistakably “cord” in character. The neutral gray has depth without flatness, making it equally at home in contemporary minimal garments or understated heritage pieces. This is a thoughtful, everyday corduroy that balances comfort, durability, and tactile interest.

    2) How It’s Made

This is a woven cut-pile corduroy built on a warp-faced rib structure. After weaving, the pile is precisely cut to create the narrow 20-wale ribs, then lightly brushed to refine the surface and enhance handfeel. It is piece-dyed to achieve an even gray tone while maintaining the natural cotton character of the cloth.

    3) Technical Specifications

    Fiber: 100% cotton
    Construction: Cut-pile corduroy, 20 wale
Weight: 240 GSM (light to midweight)
    Width: 58 inches (147 cm)
    Finish: Brushed pile, piece-dyed
    Stretch: None (stable, non-elastic)
    Opacity: Opaque
Pile Direction: One-way nap (runs lengthwise)

    4) Handfeel & Drape

Soft, fine-brushed pile with a clean, dry cotton touch between the ribs. The drape is pliant yet composed—comfortable for shirts and dresses while still capable of holding shape in lighter structured pieces. The narrow wale gives a smoother, less bulky feel than wider cords.

    5) Ideal Uses

    Shirts, overshirts, and lightweight jackets
    Dresses, skirts, and pinafores
    Tailored trousers or relaxed pants
    Bags, pouches, and soft accessories
Cushions and light home accents where subtle texture is desired
    (Not recommended for stretch-dependent patterns.)

    6) Wash & Care + Disclaimers

Pre-wash cold, gentle cycle or hand wash; line dry
Wash separately for the first few washes to avoid color transfer
Iron on low from the reverse side or use a needle board to protect the pile
Avoid heavy pressing directly on the ribs
Always test a small swatch before cutting yardage
