A beautiful handwoven wild silk noil with an exceptionally natural, tactile surface. Made using silk from wild forest cocoons, the fabric has been left completely undyed, allowing the original colours and textures of the silk fibres to remain exactly as they are.

Its soft mushroom-grey, taupe and ivory tones are produced entirely by the natural variations within the yarns. No artificial colour, dye or print has been added.

The visible handwoven structure creates a quiet grid-like surface, while the noil yarn introduces delicate slubs, knots and darker cocoon flecks throughout the cloth. These irregularities are not defects—they are integral to the character of wild silk noil and make every length beautifully individual.

Unlike conventional smooth or glossy silk, this fabric has a matte, almost linen-like appearance and a firm, slightly crisp hand. At approximately 280 GSM, it has enough body to hold a structured silhouette while still retaining the natural movement of a handwoven textile.
