    Descripción

A rich, grounded tan cotton corduroy with a classic 13-wale rib that balances clarity, warmth, and tactile presence. At 350 GSM, this is a true heavyweight corduroy—substantial, durable, and garment-forward—yet refined rather than bulky. The medium tan shade has depth and nuance, avoiding flatness while remaining versatile for both contemporary and heritage-inspired making. This reads honest, long-lasting, and craft-conscious: a cord that will only improve with wear.

    2) How It’s Made

This is a woven cut-pile corduroy built on a warp-faced rib structure. After weaving, the pile is precisely cut to form the 13-wale ribs, then lightly brushed to refine the surface and enhance handfeel. It is piece-dyed to achieve an even, warm tan tone while preserving the natural character of the cotton base.

    3) Technical Specifications

    Fiber: 100% cotton
    Construction: Cut-pile corduroy, 13 wale
    Weight: 350 GSM (heavyweight)
    Width: 58 inches (147 cm)
    Finish: Brushed pile, piece-dyed
    Stretch: None (stable, non-elastic)
    Opacity: Fully opaque
Pile Direction: One-way nap (runs lengthwise)

    4) Handfeel & Drape

Plush, softly brushed pile with a clean cotton touch between the ribs. The drape is structured and supportive—ideal for tailored pieces that need body and longevity. The 13-wale strikes a perfect middle ground: textured without being coarse.

    5) Ideal Uses

    Jackets, chore coats, and overshirts
Tailored trousers, relaxed pants, and skirts
    Structured dresses and pinafores
    Bags, totes, and durable accessories
Cushions, light upholstery, and home accents

    (Not recommended for stretch-dependent patterns.)

    6) Wash & Care + Disclaimers

Pre-wash cold, gentle cycle or hand wash; line dry
Wash separately for the first few washes
Iron on low from the reverse side or use a needle board to protect the pile
Avoid heavy pressing directly on the ribs
Always test a small swatch before cutting yardage
