    Description

    Fabric Overview

A curated trio of charcoal gray yak wool fabrics, unified by fiber, color family, and weight, yet differentiated by surface and structure. This listing brings together herringbone tweed, twill tweed, and boiled wool—three expressions of yak wool that span tailored structure to sculptural softness. Naturally insulating, breathable, and quietly matte, these fabrics are suited for cold-weather garments with depth and longevity.

    How It’s Made

Woven from fine yak wool yarns and yarn-dyed in a deep charcoal gray, each fabric is finished according to its intended character:

Herringbone tweed is woven with a broken twill for subtle directional texture.

Twill tweed uses a continuous twill weave, producing a smoother hand and fluid drape.

Boiled wool is woven first, then gently felted and compacted to create a dense, seam-stable cloth with a soft, uniform surface.

All three share the same fiber origin and weight class but differ in weave and finishing.
