Handwoven Kala cotton 1/1 fabric, 45" wide, 115 GSM
$22.00Excl. T.V.A.
Description
This handwoven Kala cotton fabric is constructed in a classic 1/1 plain weave, where each warp yarn passes alternately over and under each weft yarn. The result is a balanced, stable cloth with a clean surface and the softly irregular texture characteristic of handwoven cotton.
At 115 GSM, it is lightweight, airy, and breathable, with a dry, natural hand that softens beautifully with washing and continued use. The fabric has a light, relaxed drape, making it particularly well suited to warm-weather clothing, gathered silhouettes, and comfortable everyday garments.
Available in three naturally dyed shades, each colour carries subtle tonal depth and variation. Minor differences within the fabric and between dye batches are inherent to natural dyeing and give every length its own individual character.

Care Instructions
Pre-washing is recommended before cutting, as handwoven cotton may relax or shrink slightly during its first wash.
Wash separately in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Natural dyes may release some excess colour during the first few washes, particularly in deeper shades.
Do not soak, bleach, scrub, or wring. Dry naturally in the shade and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Iron on low to medium heat from the reverse side, preferably while the fabric is slightly damp.
Please Note
Minor slubs, weave variations, and subtle irregularities are natural characteristics of handwoven Kala cotton and should not be considered defects.
Natural dyes may develop a softer, gently aged appearance with washing and use. Colours can also vary slightly between production batches and may appear different depending on lighting and individual screen settings.
