Description
## Fabric Overview
This handwoven cotton–silk fabric is a beautifully balanced natural textile, combining the soft breathability of cotton with the subtle lustre and graceful drape of silk.
Woven slowly on traditional looms, the fabric has a quiet, organic beauty created by the interaction of its two fibres. Cotton provides comfort and stability, while silk adds gentle luminosity, fluidity, and an elegant finish.
At 137 GSM, the fabric is lightweight and airy yet more substantial than sheer silk. It flows beautifully while retaining enough body for garments that require soft shaping and controlled movement.
## Handwoven Character
As a handwoven textile, the surface may display gentle variations in yarn thickness, texture, and weave rhythm. These natural irregularities give the cloth its tactile, individual character and reflect the work of traditional handloom weaving.
The fabric is particularly suited to warm-weather and layered garments. Cotton keeps it cool and breathable, while silk provides soft insulation and helps the cloth fall into smooth, elegant folds.

Steam gently or iron on low heat from the reverse side. Always test a small swatch before washing or pressing the full yardage.
## Handloom Disclaimer
Slight variations in texture, yarn thickness, weave, and sheen are inherent to handwoven natural-fibre textiles. These individual characteristics are part of the fabric’s artisanal beauty and should not be considered defects.
