    Description

A refined yak wool–cotton twill tweed in deep charcoal gray, combining natural insulation with added stability and wear resistance. At 380 GSM, this is a true heavyweight fabric—dense, warm, and enduring—yet with a slightly crisper, more controlled hand than pure yak wool alone. Yak wool (≈70%) contributes warmth, breathability, and a soft, cushioned feel, while cotton (≈30%) introduces structure, durability, and cleaner tailoring lines. The twill surface remains understated and modern, allowing the material quality to speak quietly but confidently.

    2) How It’s Made

This fabric is woven in a classic twill structure, where diagonal interlacings create strength, longevity, and a smooth, continuous face. Yak wool fibers from the insulating undercoat are blended with cotton to balance warmth with firmness and dimensional stability. The cloth is lightly finished to soften the wool component without over-milling, preserving weave clarity and making it well-suited for tailored and outerwear applications.

    3) Technical Specifications

Fiber: 80% Wool + 20% rPET (for structure)
    Construction: Twill tweed
    Weight: 380 GSM (heavyweight)
    Width: 58 inches (147 cm)
Finish: Lightly softened, natural tweed finish
    Stretch: None (stable woven)
    Opacity: Fully opaque
Surface: Smooth twill face with subtle wool texture

    Color: Charcoal gray

    4) Handfeel & Drape

Warm and dense, with a firmer, more tailored hand than pure wool. The cotton content reduces sponginess and adds definition, making the fabric feel structured, composed, and long-wearing. The drape is architectural rather than fluid—ideal for garments that need to hold shape.

    5) Ideal Uses

    Overcoats, jackets, and structured outerwear
    Blazers and tailored wool layers
Winter trousers, skirts, and suiting separates
    Minimalist capes and wraps
    Cushions and premium interior textiles
    (Not suitable for stretch-dependent patterns.)

    6) Wash & Care + Disclaimers

    Dry clean recommended
Do not machine wash or tumble dry
Steam lightly to refresh and relax fibers
Store folded or hung with proper support
Always test a small swatch before cutting yardage
