Description
Diamond Vale is a rare pure-wool tweed, completely handwoven in a subtle diamond structure and offered in two exceptionally rich colourways: Deep Burgundy and Brushed Olive.
Its defining distinction is its composition. This tweed is woven entirely from wool, without a secondary fibre blended into the cloth. The result is a beautifully warm, substantial textile with the depth, tactile character and natural richness associated with pure wool.
The small-scale diamond weave creates a restrained pattern that becomes more visible as the light moves across the surface. It gives the fabric visual dimension without making it feel overly patterned, allowing it to work equally well for classic tailoring and more contemporary silhouettes.
Each colourway has its own finish:
Deep Burgundy: A saturated wine-toned burgundy with a comparatively cleaner surface, allowing the diamond weave to remain more clearly defined.
Brushed Olive: A rich, earthy olive with a more extensively brushed finish. Its softly raised fibres create a warmer, hazier surface and make the diamond structure appear more subdued.
At approximately 320 GSM, Diamond Vale has enough substance and body for outerwear and softly structured tailoring while remaining pliable rather than rigid. It falls with a controlled, weighted drape and forms rounded folds rather than standing stiffly.
Minor shifts in the weave, surface and colour are natural characteristics of its handwoven construction and make every length subtly individual.

Care Instructions

Avoid excessive heat, rubbing or heavy pressing, particularly on the Brushed Olive colourway, as this may flatten its raised surface. Test all pressing and finishing methods on a swatch before cutting.
