Description
Drift Tweed is a completely handwoven, pure-wool textile created for designs that require the warmth and visual richness of tweed without the stiffness of a traditional heavy coating fabric.
At approximately 230–240 GSM, it is a true mid-weight wool with a supple, flowing drape. It bends easily, gathers into soft folds and moves naturally with the body rather than holding a rigid or architectural shape. The surface carries a fine diagonal woven texture, adding quiet depth while allowing each colour to appear especially rich and dimensional.
Woven entirely from wool, without a secondary fibre blended into its composition, Drift Tweed has a warm, tactile handle and an elegant, softly weighted fall. It is substantial enough for light outerwear and relaxed tailoring, yet fluid enough for dresses, skirts and other garments where movement is essential.
